Water Cycle
Water runoff The water in a tundra will either freeze or go to a near by lake or ocean. afrter falling in the rain form and hitting the earth. |
Nitrogen cycle
Plants and humans can’t use nitrogen until it gets turned into a useable form. Nitrogen comes from the atmosphere and goes into the ground. Then bacteria changes the nitrogen into ammonia so that plants can use it to help them grow. When the animal eats a plant the nitrogen gets moved around from one organism to the other. When a plant or animal dies they will break down (decompose) into the ground releasing the nitrogen from their bodies. |
Carbon cycle
Aquatic moss absorbs carbon from the water. plants take the smallest particles of carbon in the water and use it for photosynthesis. They produce oxygen and glucose. When the lemmings eat the moss they take in the energy. when the plant or the animal dies detrivores will start to break down the plant or animal to create carbon. |
